Artwork Statement:
The Prints say that they are loosely about the economic downturn, and are based on designs found on American currency. The Prints don’t mean to be as much a social commentary, but rather attempt to capture a general social feeling of distress, frustration, pride, love and/or fear about the subject. The print “Composed Marks (Eagle Tail Feathers)”, at the very top of the page, is not really in line with the rest of the prints subject matter wise, but a deviation.
